Munich Center for Technology in Society (MCTS)

The Munich Center for Technology in Society (MCTS) is an Integrative Research Center of the Technical University of Munich. As one of the most important centers for science and technology research in Germany, it aims to understand and shape the diverse interactions of science, technology and society. The MCTS meets the challenges of technoscientific developments in interdisciplinary research, teaching and dialogue by bringing social sciences, humanities, natural sciences and engineering into dialogue and initiating cooperations.

In the program “Science ⋈ Technology ⋈ Society” (WTG@MCTS), members of MCTS together with external lecturers offer numerous interdisciplinary workshops and seminars for all TUM students.

Every semester we offer a course together with MCTS, where students can implement their own project idea. More info about this can be found here.
