The aim of the Green Mensa project is to make the food on offer and the infrastructure of the canteens and student cafés more sustainable. To this end, we are in regular contact with the Munich Student Union. After the Mensa survey 2020, this resulted in a larger vegetarian/vegan offer and StuBowls, among other things. This semester we want to achieve a more diverse vegan offer in the StuCafés.
But also topics such as the introduction of a returnable cup deposit system and measures to reduce food waste are the content of our project work.
