Sustainable Walking Tour
International Project / English
New in Munich? Or curious about how to live more sustainably as a student? ♻️✨
The Sustainable Walking Tour was created to give students a practical introduction to sustainable living in Munich — not just in theory, but through real places you can use in your everyday life.
During a guided walk of around 1.5–2 hours through Maxvorstadt, we explore different aspects of sustainability in the city, including:
🥕 Vegan cafés and restaurants
🛍️ Second-hand and sustainable shopping
♻️ Munich’s recycling system
💡 Tips for a more sustainable lifestyle
Along the way, we discuss topics such as conscious consumption, food choices, and circular economy — all in a relaxed and interactive setting.
The places featured in the tour are also part of the Umweltlifeguide, a project initiated by the Environmental Department of the Student Representation to help students navigate sustainable options in Munich.
Whether you want to discover new spots, learn practical tips, or meet like-minded people — this tour is for you 💚
