The Networking Department is responsible for reaching out to and keeping contact with different stakeholders of the sustainability scene at TUM, in Munich, in Bavaria, and in Germany.

Here are some examples on how we shaped our networking work in the past years:

• In November 2022, we organized a networking meeting at TUM that was addressed to sustainable initiatives at Bavarian universities. This happened in the context of konferenz n, a German-wide conference organized by netzwerk n.
• Since 2021, we have been in close contact with the TUM Sustainability Office to shape the TUM-internal community of sustainability-related student initiatives.
• Since July 2023, we’ve been in contact with the Munich-based NGO rehab republic, which advocates for a more sustainable city. In this context, we have already received valuable information material on waste-free lifestyle, and we are currently planning a workshop together.
• In the current winter term, we are especially focusing on the meaning behind networking. With questions such as why is networking important? or how is networking supposed to look like?, we want to improve the networking experience of our team and make it more attractive to other initiatives that are currently less involved in our network.
