The Sustainable Walking Tour was born out of the idea of introducing students from abroad to sustainable living in Munich. Together with the TUM ESN (Erasmus+ Network) group “TUMi”, we are therefore organising this event primarily for exchange students, but it is of course open to everyone.

During a 2 hour walk through Maxvorstadt we will show the participants vegan alternatives, second hand shops, Munich’s recycling system and much more. We will address topics around sustainable consumer behaviour.

The places and shops we visit can all be found in the Environmental Lifeguide, which was created by the Environmental Department a few semesters ago. Afterwards, the participants can get to know each other better in a discussion round and exchange ideas on sustainability topics.
